Hope in the Blue Circle
Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a developmental disorder that affects communication, behavior, and social interactions. Individuals with autism may experience a range of challenges, from difficulties in socializing and understanding social cues to repetitive behaviors and intense interests. The spectrum nature of autism means that symptoms and their severity can vary significantly from person to person. While some individuals may require significant support, others may lead independent lives. Early diagnosis and intervention can greatly improve outcomes, helping individuals with autism reach their full potential and thrive in their communities.
